दिवसावसान का समय मेघमय आसमान से उतर रही है वह सुंदरी परी-सी धीरे-धीरे, धीरे-धीरे। तिमिर-तारका-सी अमरता की सहचरी निरवता के कंधे पर डाले बाँह छाँह-सी अंबर-पथ से चली।

The time of day's end, From the cloud-filled sky she descends, A beautiful fairy-like maiden, Slowly, slowly, slowly. Like darkness-stars, Companion of immortality, With arm around silence's shoulder, Like a shadow, she walked the sky-path.
