धो दिया है मैंने तेरा सारा राग अमृत घट से बहाकर, जीवन-पथ के विभिन्न-विघ्न पर कर विजय! आज मैं निज हाथों से तेरा मुख धोता हूँ, हृदय-नीर से पवित्र कर देता हूँ। यह मेरी अंतिम इच्छा है, सरोज, तुम अमर हो, यह वरदान तुम्हें देकर जाता हूँ, अपने अश्रुजल से!

I have washed away all your attachment, pouring from the urn of immortality, overcoming various obstacles on life's path! Today, with my own hands, I wash your face, purifying it with the water of my heart. This is my last wish, Saroj, may you be immortal, this boon I bestow upon you, with the water of my tears!
