द्रुत झरो जगत के जीर्ण पत्र! स्तब्ध शुष्क, शीत-शिथिल, निष्प्राण! हीन ताप, पीत-भ्रस्त-पुराण! पातकी-पाप-ताप-शाप-ग्रस्त! हे अनागत वसंत! चिर-सुंदर! जगत में कर सद्योजात क्रांति! जीर्ण-शीर्ण, स्तब्ध, शुष्क, निष्प्राण! छोड़ो सब मृग-छाया-भ्रान्त! जागो, नवल प्रभात के स्वर! करो नूतन जीवन-संचार! सुंदर, नव, विहसित, चिर शांत! आओ, ले नव युग का द्वार!
