गिरि के हृदय में कंप हो चाहे प्रलय के आँसुओं में मौन अलसित व्योम रो ले, आज पी आलोक को डोले तिमिर की बात क्या है, जाग तुझको दूर जाना। बाँध लेंगे क्या तुझे यह मोम के बंधन सजीले? पंथ की बाधा बनेंगे तितलियों के पर रंगीले? विश्व का क्रंदन भुला देगी मधुर की गुंजन? क्या डुबो देंगे तुझे यह फूल के दल ओस गीले? तू न अपनी छाँह को अपने लिए कारा बनाना, जाग तुझको दूर जाना।

Though mountains may tremble at their core, Though the silent, drowsy sky may weep tears of deluge, Today, what use is the darkness that sways, having drunk the light? Awaken! You have far to go. Will these pretty waxen bonds tie you down? Will the colourful wings of butterflies become obstacles on your path? Will the sweet humming make you forget the world's lament? Will these dewy flower petals drown you? Do not make your own shadow your prison, Awaken! You have far to go.
