न जाने कौन अहेरी, रोज आता चुपके-चुपके, पंखों की कोमल कली से, मेरे मानस-वीणा पर, निराले गीत बजाता। न जाने कौन दिगंत में, खींच लेता मेरा चित्त, अनजाने ही मृदु भावों से, लहराते मेरे स्वप्न, उड़ जाते कहीं दूर।

Don't know what hunter, Comes daily, silently, With a soft bud of feathers, On my mind's lyre, Plays unique melodies. Don't know who in the horizon, Draws my heart, With unknown gentle emotions, My dreams flutter, And fly far away.
