सुख-दुःख के मधुर मिलन से यह जीवन हो परिपूरण, फिर घन में ओझल हो शशिनंदन, फिर शशिनंदन में ओझल हो घन। जग पीड़ित है अति दुःख से, जग पीड़ित है अति सुख से, मानव जग में बँट जावें दुःख-सुख से, जीवन में नित रहे सामंजस्य। नभ का अंचल हो मृदु-करुण, तारों में भर जाए अश्रु-कण, फिर मेघों में ओझल हो शशिनंदन, फिर शशिनंदन में ओझल हो घन।

From the sweet union of joy and sorrow, May this life be complete, Then the moon-child hides in the cloud, Then the cloud hides in the moon-child. The world suffers from excessive sorrow, The world suffers from excessive joy, May humanity distribute sorrow-joy, May harmony always prevail in life. May the sky's expanse be soft-compassionate, May teardrops fill the stars, Then the moon-child hides in the clouds, Then the clouds hide in the moon-child.
