तुम कनक किरण के अंतराल में लुक-छिप कर चलते हो क्यों? निशि के अंचल में मोती की छवि दिखलाते हो क्यों? पद्म पराग भरी साँझ पवन, मधुरस सरस बहाती क्यों? अधरों पर अधरों का कंपन मुसकान बन जाता क्यों? इस लघु सरिता का सफल मिलन केवल सागर से होता क्यों? सृष्टि के इस विशाल प्रांगण में हर कण में तुम्हीं तो हो।

You, amidst the golden rays, Why do you walk, hiding and appearing? In the veil of night, like pearls, Why do you reveal your image? Evening breeze, laden with lotus pollen, Why does it flow, sweet and tender? The tremor of lips upon lips, Why does it turn into a smile? This small river's successful union, Why does it only happen with the ocean? In the vast courtyard of creation, You are present in every particle.
