Composed by नागार्जुन

English Translation

This toothy smile Will infuse life even in the dead. These dust-smeared limbs of yours... Leaving the pond, water lilies bloom in my hut. Having felt your touch, Even hard stone must have melted into water. Touching you, did the Shefalika flowers start falling? Was it bamboo or thorn? You haven't recognized me? You keep staring without blinking! Are you tired? Shall I turn my eyes away? What if we couldn't recognize each other the first time? If your mother hadn't been the medium today I wouldn't have seen, I wouldn't have known This toothy smile of yours.

Little smile, the essence of life, It erases all darkness from the mind. There is such magic in your touch, That transforms every sadness into peace. This pure gaze, this innocence, How holy is your heart. The moment you arrived in my courtyard, Every corner became like sandalwood. This smile, my priceless treasure, May your companionship never leave. Your presence is my identity, From you alone is my pride.
