हो गई आज रणभूमि विकल, व्यर्थ ही क्यों बहे रक्त अनमोल? कौन जीता, कौन हारा यहाँ, जब मिटा इंसान का मोल? रश्मिरथी की यह कैसी गाथा, जहाँ मित्र शत्रु से लड़ा? धर्म का ढोंग रचकर देखो, पाप का दलदल बढ़ा। प्रेम की वाणी थी मुखरित, किन्तु शस्त्रों का शोर मचा। न्याय की बात भुलाकर सबने, क्यों अनर्थ का मार्ग चुना?
