2. The 4-Factor PAC Protocol
Before predicting any house outcome, apply the PAC formula:
- Position (Bhava & Rashi): Where does the planet sit? What dignity does it hold?
- Aspect (Drishti): Who is watching this house? Jupiter's aspect protects; Saturn's aspect delays; Mars's aspect inflames.
- Conjunction (Yuti): Who is sitting in the room with the planet?
- Bhavesha (House Lord): Where has the ruler of this house gone? Apply Bhavat Bhavam (house-to-house reflection).
3. Kartari Yogas (Scissors Effect)
When a house or planet is flanked on both sides (in the 2nd and 12th from itself):
- Papa Kartari: Hemmed in between two natural malefics (e.g. Saturn in H3 and Mars in H5 hem in House 4). The matters of the trapped house feel suffocated and besieged.
- Shubha Kartari: Hemmed in between two natural benefics (e.g. Jupiter in H6 and Venus in H8 hem in House 7). The house flourishes with effortless grace and protection.
4. Signature Yogas & The Mangal Bhanga Rule
Key combinations:
- Pancha Mahapurusha Yogas: Mars (Ruchaka), Mercury (Bhadra), Jupiter (Hamsa), Venus (Malavya), Saturn (Sasa) in a Kendra in own or exalted sign.
- Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga (NBRY): When a debilitated planet's dispositor or exaltation lord sits in a Kendra from Lagna or Moon.
- Viparita Raja Yoga: Lords of 6, 8, 12 placed exclusively in other dusthanas (Harsha, Sarala, Vimala) — success arising through competitors' failures.
- The Shani-Mangala Bhanga Principle: Many astrologers terrify clients with "Manglik Dosha." But if Saturn is conjunct Mars in the same house, the Manglik fire is nullified! Saturn represents the stern, disciplined elder whose steady presence calms and channels Mars's raw impetuosity.
